Golgasht !

In our university we have programs which called "Golgasht". It means: mountaining in a day but the goal is not climbing the peak. I decided to participate in them but I couldn't participate in all of them. Because I had classes. Finally I successed to register for the last one. Two of my friends, Atefeh and Maryam, decided to came too.This time we wanted to go to Sangan Waterfall in the weekend.

Sangan waterfall is located in the north-west of Tehran. First we should pass the Kan road and then we should pass the way from a village to arrive to waterfall. In common after walking 2 or 3 hours we will arrive to waterfall.

It was thursday. We got up early in the morning. At seven o'clock we were at university and at 8:15 we arrived to Sangan Waterfall.

The weather was rainy and cold. We were somehow two groups an active and fast group and a lazy and slow group.It's really misrable to go somewhere with lazy people.

My rock coach, Nasim and his husband, Jafar also were with us. The active group's guider was Nasim and Jafar must walked with those lazy girls.

The way we should pass was really beautiful and those wonderful and beautiful sight-seeing caught everyone's attention.Mountains were covered with trees and bushes. In our way we saw other climbers. They picked beautiful flowers to take home. I really felt excited as I could escape from polluted weather of Tehran and also those beautiful sight-seeing reminded me my province and city.

The weather was rainy and the roads were muddy. Walking in mud was really hard for us as we didn't have suitable shoes for climbing. But we tried hard to catch our goal.We had to pass fruit gardens and also river. Passing river was the most beautiful part as it was hard for some of us to pass and fell into water. As I am a girl who hurry in doing all my works I fell into water two times. My shoes and pant were muddy. I was just laughing . I knew that some years later when I remember this day I will laugh to what I had done. So I decided to take it easy and laughed as much as I could.

We had fourty five minutes to arrive to waterfall but those lazy girls were very slow. So Nasim decided to catch water fall with six persons.My friends and I were with Nasim. Rain got faster and faster and it made our job difficult. Finaly we arrived. It was a vey beautiful scenery. The weather got colder.
We caught the waterfall and after about 20 minutes the next group arrived. We took some pictures and as the weather was cold and rainy we decided to go down. It was a funny return !My friend, Maryam fell four times. All her clothes were muddy. Atefeh and I couldn't stop laughing.

Again we were the first group who went down. During our return I found two stones. One of them was like a "Heart" and the other one was like " L". We searched to find letters "V" and "E" We but we couldn't.. I wanted to make word "Love "with them.

Rain stopped.It was a nice weather as sun was shinning.We ate our lunch and rest for one hour and at about 4:30 we were at university.

It was an enjoyable day for all of us especially my friends and I because we were group number one !

Again I advice you not to go anywhere with lazy people !

As I didn't have digital camera I can't put our pictures on the blog. Nasim promised to bring pictures for me then I will add them.

Essay writing class to me meant an active teacher with a new experience. when our teacher, Dr Marandi, asked us to make a blog and put our essays on the blog I was really excited. I was sure that it will be a wonderful experience and it has really been !
I really enjoy to spend my time with Dr Marandi as she is an active teacher, very active. When I'm in her class, I feel that I must do something and not to waste my time.
Next week this semester will be finished. I have learnt different things from my teachers and making blog was the best experience during this semester.
I will write my complete experience about my essay writing class very soon.

China a Mysterious Land

When our teacher asked us to write about a country in Asia which you like to travel my first and last chance was China. For me it has different reasons such as chinese hard working, their arts, Pandas, medicine, historical places and especially their festivals. I try to mention about each of them in my article.

China is an ancient, mysterious, and beautiful land.The full name of china is "The People's Republic of China".It is located in the middle and east of Asia and bounded on the east by thePacfic Ocean.Its shape on the map is like a rooster.
China is bordered by 14 countries-Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Bunra, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Paistan, Afghanestan, Tajikestan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakestan, Mongolia, and Russia. China is the third largest country in the world and its capital is Beijing. Population of China is about 1.3 billion( as of 2004). There are 23 provinces in China . China has a long history which is one of its greatest treasure.

History of China

"China, representing one of the earliest civilizations in the world, has a recorded history of about 3,600 years. It possesses rich historical documents as well as ancient relics. Like other nations, China, in its development, passed through the stages of primitive society, slave society, and feudal society. During the middle decades of the 19th century, capitalist forces of foreign countries invaded China, and China was slowly transformed into a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. The founding of the People's Republic in 1949 marked China's entry into the socialist stage. During the long period of historical development, the industrious, courageous, and intelligent Chinese people of all nationalities collectively created a great civilization. They made great contributions to all of mankind."

Rivers and Mountins

China has numerous rivers. Acoording to statistics, more than 50,000rivers have drainage areas that exceed 100 square Kilometers; more than 1,500 exceed 1,000 square Kilometers. The Yangtze, the longest river in china and even in Asia, is the third-longest in the world. The Yellow River, 'Mother River of the Chinese People', is just behind the Yangtze, both flowing into the Pacific Ocean.
China has large areas of mountains land, about two-thirds of the country. The ranges mainly run from the east to west and from northeast to southwest. among these mountains, some reach the sky, nad others are lower with charming scenery. Out of the 19 mountains throughout the world at the altitude of over 7,000 meters, seven stand in China. To the east in China, lower mountains like Mt. Taishan, Mt. Huashan, and Mt. Emeishan, also display their unique beauty.

Bronze Vessels

Bronze is the alloy of copper, stannum and plumbum. After the invention of this alloy 5,000 years ago, bronze prevailed immediately and led chinese ancestors into a new stage, the bronze era. First, Bronze was widely used mostly as musical instruments in sacrificial temples, as weapons of war and other vessels in court life. After that decorative patterns aws made which were the most delicate and diverse. They have different patterns . Popular patterns were the lines of beast Zs faces, the lines depicting dragons and phoenix.

Chinese Painting

Chinese used four tools for painting: paintbrush, ink, traditional paint and special paper or silk. Their painting has developed and was classified by theme into three groups: figures, landscapes and birds-and-flowers.

Chinese Calligraphy

Calligraphy, literally "beautiful writing," is one of the traditional four arts dating back to the earliest days of chinese history. Calligrapher's tools are the brush, ink, ink stone and paper. If some one wants eo become an artist or expert in calligraphy, he has to practice word by word and stroke by stroke. By controlling the concentration of ink, the thickness and absorption of the paper and the flexibility of the brush, the artist is free to produce and infinite variety of styles and forms.

Chinese Folk Toys

"Chinese folk toys enjoy a history as old as the nation itself. Revealing aspects of the land and its rich cultural heritage, they portary the wisdom and creativity of folk artists throughout China."

Chinese Festivals

China is also the country of different wonderful festivals.These festivals can catch every one's attention and take him to another world, world of imagination.

Chinese Medicine

Another thing which I really intersted in chinese culture is their beleif about medicine and especially herbal medicine.In Iran we have a great herbal medicine too and I myself know enough about plants, roots and try to use them in my life. Also their belief about " Hot and Cold " is similar to ours.

Chinese have found thousands of plants and herbs and herbal medicine is a large system in China.They analyze human's nature or property such as "cold and hot" or "ying and yang".Today we can classify herbl medicine in about ten:

Roots: That means some specific plants' roots can be used as medicine such as ginseng, Chinese gromwell, and Taiwan Angelica root, etc.Taiwan Angelica root with warm nature is helpful for the indication of headache, toothache and so on.

Rhizome: It includes dried ginger wth hot nature for some asthma and cold, Lily bulb with cold nature for insomnia and weakness,etc.

Other sorts are varied like leaf, flower, seeds, grass and vines and so on.

Panda Bears

I always like to see Pandas. They are my favorite animal and their originate is in China. I hope to see Pandas in China !

Great wall of China, different templates, gardens and parks can also catch everyone's attention very easily.

I'm sure China is a country for having the most beautiful days and night and to experience different new things.

I'm sure visiting China is a wonderful travel which stay in your mind forever.So don't miss it. I hope my cousin and I visit there on foot !

…from night to morning.

When something new is discovered, every one likes to experience it. Surely most of people who invent a new thing want to help people. But we sometimes forget it and waste our time. One of this invention is chat. Chat is a part of expanded world, Internet, in which everyone can explore very easily. But some of us often wander in it, especially in chat rooms.

We, in, all parts of the world, sit in front of computers and talk to each other very easily. It's really enjoyable and wonderful. But most of us, especially young generation, waste their time in chat rooms. Why we should waste our time when we can learn from each other and know more about different cultures, people, and cities all over the world.

Chatting, as all other things in the world, has advantages and disadvantages. I think these advantages and disadvantages depend on us. The most important advantage of chat is, communicating easily. We sat in our home and can talk with those who live far from us. The distinctive feature of chat is that we can talk, write, and also see each other simultaneously. Secondly, we can find good friends and exchange our thoughts, cultures, information… with each other. I have thought to find more advantages but I can't find any more advantages.

Now what are the disadvantages of chat? For the first time when I got familiar with Internet, the first thing which I learnt was how to chat! From that time I have felt, chat means disadvantages. After some time we'll get addicted to it and we can't stop it. We'll spend most of our time in front of computer, especially during night. In the morning we are tired and can't do our work very well. On the other hand most of people who chat, tell lies very easily during their chats with others. In fact, after getting addicted telling lies will be a habitual entertainment. Also there is sex chat which can distract young generation.

In brief, we sometimes drown in disadvantages and forget the right way. Chat is an enjoyable communication till we value ourselves, those who we chat with them and ways which technology help us to live comfortable.

Grown-ups Are Very Odd !

As I was searching in my mail box to find a picture, I saw this picture. When I saw it I drown in the past when we wanted to take this picture.I was about 5 years old and my bother, Arash,was about two years old. He cried and didn't let photographer take our picture. Arash thought he was a doctor. I talked to him and at last he took the picture but as you can see it's clear that he was frightened !

I always like to be a child and never grow up. But it's life, I must obey the rules of the world !When we are a child we see the world very beautiful an live in present but we will change alot during our life.

Really we become odd as we grow up. We think we know more and can do whatevere we want. But we are wrong. If we don't pay attention to our behavior we can get the worst in the world.

We can grow up but have the children's purity and innocent.
